The COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in an unprecedented change to our daily lives. While we all continue to work through this difficult time, we are looking forward to returning to normal once it is safe.

Illinois has released its “Restore Illinois” plan which is essentially it’s phase by phase guide to reopening the state. In order to be able to hold a large conference, such as LEND360, an area must be in “Phase 5”, which is the final phase of the plan where the economy is fully reopened with safety precautions continuing. Chicago has its own plan that, while very similar to the general Illinois plan, is not the exact same. The LEND360 team is closely monitoring the progression in this area and will plan our event accordingly.

Chicago is currently in “Phase 4”.

That is why we are still moving ahead with our LEND360 event scheduled for September 21-23 in Chicago, IL and look forward to welcoming you to a top-notch in-person event. However, we are closely monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the spread of the virus. Our focus is to ensure we meet our attendee’s desire for industry leading content and networking opportunities while also doing our part to keep everyone safe. To help ensure the health and safety of our attendees, we are:

– Coordinating with our venues regarding heightened sanitizing efforts.

– Asking participants to not attend the events if they or an immediate family member are not feeling well and/or suspect that they have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
– Increasing signage onsite reminding all attendees to keep their hands clean and wash their hands properly.
– Working to provide additional hand sanitizer stations around the venue whenever possible.
– Encouraging responsible behavior from our participants during any social or networking events.

We at LEND360 understand that you may be experiencing stress given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events due to the coronavirus outbreak. We understand that the situation is developing rapidly, and that plans/actions may need to be revised as we move forward. We will be certain to keep you updated of any developments. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@LEND360.org.
