Preston leverages his previous experience as a practicing CPA to deliver a business-driven approach to the law. He provides litigation and regulatory compliance assistance to financial services clients across the country and serves as a Co-Leader for Bradley’s Small Dollar and Unsecured Consumer Lending Practice. On the compliance side, Preston advises clients on bringing their operations into compliance with various obligations imposed on them by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve (FRB), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and a host of state banking regulators. In this capacity he consults on product development and bank partnership modeling. He also manages federal and state examinations, including CFPB supervisory exams, and serves as in-house counsel to support internal business units.
