Karen Solomon joined Covington & Burling LLP in 2018 after a career as a financial services regulator, having served most recently at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as its Acting Senior Deputy Comptroller and Chief Counsel. She advises bank and fintech clients on a wide variety of bank policy, regulatory, and supervisory matters including legal and policy issues pertaining to bank-fintech partnerships and bank-permissible digital activities. She also represents clients in matters before the federal banking agencies and advises clients on issues related to their regulation, examination, and supervision by these agencies.
