Randy Rivera is the founder of Keen Advisors. Keen Advisors advises firms, family offices, and individuals on strategic planning, financial matters, and financial services technology. Prior to founding Keen Advisors, Randy worked for over sixteen years in financial services. He was a Senior Vice President at BBVA, where he built and ran a private banking practice in their East region that worked closely with family offices, business individuals and family owned businesses. Prior to BBVA, Randy was an Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase where he also built a private banking team after running two commercial lending businesses in Chicago and New Jersey. Randy is engaged in supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and community in his various volunteer efforts. He sits on the Board of Directors of ACCION Chicago, a community-focused micro lender. He is on the advisory board for FinTEx, a non-profit, member-driven community of the leading FinTech and Financial Services companies within Chicago and the broader Midwest. Lastly, he is also on the board of Urban Initiatives, a youth-based sports development program that serves over 15,000 Chicago Public School students. Randy received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in English and Government and has served on the Board of Governors of the Georgetown University Alumni Association for over thirteen years. He earned his MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business with majors in Finance and Entrepreneurship and is active with the Polsky Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as a mentor and judge. Randy, his wife and three children live in Lincoln Park, Chicago. He spends his spare time traveling with his family and enjoys coaching his children in baseball, basketball and flag football.
